CSS3 Code Generators

While Using CSS3 you can not depend on typing all the CROSS browser code CSS3 features such as border radius, shadow etc. As CSS3 is not yet a W3C standard so we need to use browser level prefixes for them .

Here are list of Browser level prefixes:

Supported by Internet Explorer with the prefix -ms-
Supported by Firefox with the prefix -moz-
Supported by Google Chrome with the prefix -webkit-
Supported by Safari with the prefix -webkit-
Supported by Opera with the prefix -o-

Instead of doing this browser specific stuff again and again there are few online tools available for generating cross browser CSS3 code.

CSS3 Generator (http://www.css3generator.com/)

CSS3 Generator uses a wizard-like approach to define styles. Choose from a variety of effects including border radius, text shadow, box shadow, multiple columns, transforms and transitions. Then, complete a few boxes to apply them to the preview element.

CSS3 Generator highlights which browsers and versions support the effect and, where possible, provides IE-specific filter code.

CSS3 Playground (http://css3.mikeplate.com/)

CSS3 Playground has been created by freelance developer Mike Plate. As well as supporting a range of CSS3 properties, it’s the only tool which allows you to preview effects on more than one element and change the content of the boxes. Amazing.
